Meet CASA Youth Advocates in Delaware & Chester Counties, PA

In 2017, we launched our partnership with The Philadelphia Foundation (TPF) and have since met hundreds of incredible nonprofits from Greater Philadelphia, including Anne Shenberger and Leigh Anne McKelvey from CASA Youth Advocates.

At Catchafire, we are committed to connecting social good organizations like CASA with skill-based volunteers, ultimately meaning the CASA team can better deliver on their mission while our network of virtual volunteers take on short-term projects like branding, research, and technology — projects CASA otherwise might not have the capacity or budget to do so.

We’ve been fortunate to get a glimpse into their broader work as Court Appointed Special Advocates and what it has meant to them to have Catchafire serve as an extension of their team.

CASA has been in Delaware County since 1992. They recruit, train, and support volunteers from the community to serve as advocates for children in the child welfare system because of abuse and neglect.
