Biography

I am a British Photographer based in New York City.

My work focuses on several theme's based on and around my travels including street and landscape photography and the abstract in the everyday found during these travels. I have traveled extensively to over 50 countries across all 7 continents. More extensive travel photography can be seen on my travel blog themcminiens.com. In addition to these theme's I have an evolving photographic kitsch artistic style of photography www.francisminien.com.

There is also a philanthropic side to my photography where for the last few years he has been working with Charities, NGO's and other Non Profits around the world. As an outlet to promote the work of these non profits he has set up a new organisation called I Wanted To Help, where all projects are on exhibition in the form of photo essays. www.iwantedtohelp.org.
