I am a product developer, marketer and social entrepreneur with a background in IT management. So, I understand what it takes to manage technology, build services and efficient processes in an organization. I've spent the last 3 years in education, first working as a Director of Product Development for an EdTech startup, then as an Executive Director with the NYC Department of Education and now as a Business Analyst for Macmillan New Ventures (a subsidiary of Macmillan Publishing).
My experience also branches over into marketing. I have worked with large for-profit organizations (Gillette, P&G, Iron Mountain) and small non-profits (HelpingHands, Tay-Bandz) helping them think about their target constituents and formalize strategies for reaching those targets without straining the budget.
I also have a degree and experience as an ESL Educator at Northeastern University and the Cambridge Learning Center in Boston. I also developed an ESL curriculum for tutors in the YearUp program there.
I am looking to continue working with non-profits anchored in education - either on internal organizational decision making or external marketing needs. My varied experiences allow me to look at an organization from many angles - and to find solutions that will be sustaining.
