What we have in place
- We currently have Board Reports & Metrics, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have content on our website including testimonials & monthly celebrations, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $9,148 , allowing us to cover the wages for 5 teen internships.
The success of our organization depends on sharing our impact with our donors and community partners. Without your help, we cannot effectively share our impact on a large scale & raise money. Your skills will empower us to reach more children & have a greater impact on the community.

Our mission
TRUE Mentors exists to unearth the excellence of youth through relationships.
TRUE Mentors was inspired by a need in Hoboken to provide another trusted voice in the lives of our children who come from all backgrounds. We believe it takes a village to raise a child and we want to partner and support parents of all backgrounds with trusted resources in a structured environment.
What we do
At TRUE Mentors, we recognize the value of healthy, strong relationships. Our programs are designed around these three types of relationships:
Mentoring addresses the one to one relationship such as the relationship one has with their best friend. Our mentors become a trusted friend and champion to our children.
In addition to the mentoring, TRUE Mentors offers weekly classes (enrichment clubs) during the school year and a teen internship program to unearth potential in group and workplace settings.
Clubs create the opportunity to explore group relationships. So often in life, we are part of teams or groups of people and we must navigate multiple viewpoints and be open to new ideas. Our Teen Internship Program offers teens the opportunity to explore workplace relationships.
