What we'd like to talk about
The Believe in a Healthy Newark Culture of Health Conference will be held on Sept 28th and we would like a marketing plan.
Additional context
The Culture of Health is about the social determinants of health and we are working with three impact teams to address Healthy Homes (including lead and asthma triggers) Food and Fitness and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE). The goal is to improve health outcomes in Newark.
"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.
Our mission
Believe in a Healthy Newark Initiative is one of 20 grants funded by New Jersey Health Initiatives aimed at creating a culture of health in New Jersey. The NJHI projects are part of the larger nationwide Culture of Health focus of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Our overall goal is to address social determinants as they impact health and contribute to excess mortality. We have created three impact teams of Food and Fitness, Healthy Homes and Adverse Childhood Experiences to address the social determinants in hopes of measurably improving health outcomes in Newark over time.
