What we'd like to talk about
We need a new approach to engaging corporate donors and sponsors, and some help in developing an approach that fits our organization, history, and board/staff increase corporate donorship and sponsorship.
Additional context
The Museum has won some corporate support over the years, but does not have a fully developed organizational strategy for approaching nearby or historically connected and relevant businesses in the region to support our organization on a larger scale. Some board members are hesitant to ask or even make connections.
"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.
Our mission
The mission of the Roebling Museum is to document, preserve and exhibit the history of the John A. Roebling’s Sons Company, the Roebling family and the village of Roebling. Its focus is not only on the industrial and technological achievements of the company but on the unique social history of its workforce and the town it created.
The Museum bridges a storied past to the present by providing exhibits and programs directed at the interests of the worldwide public while also serving as a valuable resource for school curriculum enhancement programs and academic research.
Testimonials
(No testimonial has been submitted by Varissa)
I spoke with Varissa, the museum's Executive Director, and Martha, one of the museum's board members. I was very impressed that a board member was in on the call as it demonstrates a strong commitment to the success of museum. It was a pleasure speaking with both of them. I found them to be fully engaged and feel they are on the right path to developing a stronger fundraising plan.
