Project details

What we need
  • Assistance with setting up a Google Analytics account and tracking codes for the Organization’s various web assets (e.g. mobile apps, website, blog, social media)
  • Training on how to track performance, set up reports and analyze the data collected online
  • Set of guidelines for data collection, interpretation and analysis
What we have in place
  • We currently have a mobile optimized WordPress site and a web admin who can update tags and titles if given recommendations. There is internal staff capacity to publish monthly blog articles following SEO guidelines. Our online presence spans Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Yelp (as well as multiple nonprofit directories) with references back to the site via direct links or snip.ly. We are using Constant Contact to stay connected with our audiences once they indicate interest, and we maintain a modest Facebook/Instagram ad budget.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,762 , allowing us to distribute 800 oral hygiene kits to uninsured children & families in low-income communities.

KinderSmile Foundation provides nearly 2,000 underserved children & uninsured perinatal women with free dental care & oral health education each year. Our success relies on connecting ...
—families in need with the charitable services we provide.
—potential volunteers with opportunities to give back to their community.
—donors/grantors with our resource needs & the impact of supporting our work.
Establishing a strong SEO/SEM program is crucial for us to connect with these 3 audiences, and you can be help us take the first step by properly configuring Google Analytics.

Our mission

KinderSmile Foundation envisions a future where every child has access to a dentist and dental disease is eradicated. Our mission is to provide underserved children with access to comprehensive dental care and educate children and their families on the importance of dental hygiene.

What we do

We go beyond advocacy by directly providing access to comprehensive dental services and oral health education through three primary programs.

KinderSmile Oral Health Program
—Community outreach effort to deliver diagnostic/preventive dental care and oral health education in local early childhood centers
—Continuous, comprehensive care and education provided at a dental home that accepts all children 0-17 (uninsured, Medicaid/Managed Care patients)

KinderSmile Perinatal Health & Wellness Program
—Educational opportunity for pregnant & recently postpartum women to be empowered by oral health instruction
—Uninsured participants who complete 4 hours of education are eligible for free comprehensive dental care for 1 year

KinderSmile Community Service Learning Program
—Mentorship and pre-professional guidance for high school, college & grad students by volunteering with the nonprofit
—Annual mission trip to provide oral health care & education to children and perinatal women in developing nations like Haiti, Jamaica and Guatemala
