What we'd like to talk about

We are upgrading our website and interviewing vendors for redesign and hosting. We need help in selecting a vendor, key criteria given our organization and constraints, and avoiding pitfalls

Additional context

We are a community coalition fighting the heroin/opioid epidemic with limited resources and little technical expertise. The website www.communityincrisis.org is a critical component of our prevention and recovery strategies. We have a toolkit for use by other communities to launch similar programs, so the site must be expandable and mulitpurpose.

"Phone calls" are 1 hour, one-time calls with an organization. Learn the difference between volunteering on a Phone call and a Project here.

Our mission

Community in Crisis is a coalition of community stakeholders in the five towns of the Somerset Hills in Somerset County, New Jersey . Our mission is to create a community united in fighting the heroin/opiate crisis, reducing the stigma of addiction and preventing overdose deaths. Our vision is to be a model community for substance abuse prevention and education: changing lives, enabling futures.

Testimonials

Ken did an excellent job of answering our questions and provided sound advice about alternatives way to approach our web development project. His input will be reflected in our immediate next steps and in the way we structure the project in the longer term. Thank you Ken!

Website Phone call

What a nice organization, and group of people running it. I completely empathize with a non-profit just really starting out with their technical needs (website, social media, logo, marketing materials, etc ....), yet it is financially tough, and to those running it, having to wear many hats to get such good work done. Just a matter of time, but I see good things comin' there way :)
