What We Need

  • Print-ready brochure template provided in a high-resolution format (jpeg, gif, pdf, etc.)
  • Accurate, print-ready specifications
  • Note: This project does not include printing

How This Will Help

We have a brochure with all our information. It needs to be refined and made more professional. We are a totally volunteer nonprofit.

We currently have everything done which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have all our information incorporated into it. and the ability to provide any other information you need.

The Joshua Harr Shane Foundation was founded in 2000 and has provided the wonderful opportunity for the legacy of Joshua Harr Shane to live on in the lives of those he loved those who loved him and now those who have had a chance to be touched by JHSF.

    Organizations: 4-5 hours
  • Location: Remote (work anywhere)
  • Requirements: This project requires a short interview with the organization. If your application is accepted, you'll receive an email from Catchafire with instructions to schedule a call.

Project Steps

  • Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
    • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with high-resolution logo and visual brand guidelines or examples, images you'd like to include in brochure (if applicable), and finalized copy for brochure
  • Milestone 1: Information Gathering
    • Professional and Volunteer Manager meet to discuss goals of brochure, target audience, and style preferences
  • Milestone 2: Preliminary Design
    • Professional performs initial design and layout and sends to Organization for up to 3 rounds of review and feedback
  • Milestone 3: Final Design
    • Professional finalizes designs, digitizes the artwork and delivers high-res versions, along with print specs to Organization
    • Professional advises on best practices for printing
Prerequisites for Professional
  • Excellent graphic design skills
  • Proficiency with design software such as Adobe's creative suite
  • Working knowledge of standard printing specifications
  • Portfolio examples to share

  • Finalized copy for your brochure
