What we need
- Analysis of accounting needs and assessment of current accounting practices
- Recommendations for process improvements and report generation
- Recommendations for appropriate bookkeeping software and related costs (if necessary)
- Implementation of chosen bookkeeping software (if necessary)
- Training on data input and essential reports to generate
Additional details
It would be nice to have an accurate Chart of Accounts that reflects nonprofits. It would nice to have someone look over the format of our reports to make sure they are formatted accurately.
What we have in place
- We currently have Quickbooks for Nonprofits for the past three years, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an active finance committee who can be available anytime, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,779 , allowing us to This project will allow us to organize our financials so that we can be more appealing to funders and donors.
Have accurate accounting will help the organization with projections, cash flow predictions, reporting and more. It needs to be organized so that we are not spending as much time with it.

Our mission
Artportunity Knocks mission is to empower youth to excel in positive arts self-expression, Education, Community Service and bridging cultures through the Arts. We accomplish this mission through a variety of afterschool programs, mentoring camps, classes, and events that promotes positivity, unity, and excellence in the Arts. We primarily serve students in grades K-12.

I? cannot price What Dave did for us! Not only did he organize our chart of accounts, created a reimbursement policy and procedure, but he wanted to make sure everyone was trained on the new system so he created a slide deck that will allow us to train people! I? would value this way more than what they have on here. He was on time for calls, professional and project focused so he got things done on time! I? wish I? had him on our board but he lives so far away :(
