Social Media Plan
Social Media Plan
Project details
What we need
- A document outlining the most appropriate social media channels, strategies for usage, goals and key metrics to evaluate success
- Expert consultation on messaging, scheduling and frequency
- Tailored suggestions for style, tone, and types of content to best showcase the Organization
Additional details
We never established a social media strategy so we hope that this project will help us to have a physical plan that our marketing team can work off of. I had a 1-hour call with a social media specialist on Catchafire for initial ideas and feedback that I can bring to this partnership.
What we have in place
- Peace Care has 2 Facebook profiles for our different facilities. We also have a Twitter page, although it was never given much attention by the team managing it and ultimately never gained a following.
As the designated staff member for the project, I can assist by answering any questions, updating the platforms, etc. I have begun to develop a social media calendar for 2019 that I would love feedback on.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,632 , allowing us to provide transparency about the critical work that we do for the elderly community and show that their support makes a tremendous difference to improve the lives of the elderly.
We want the community to know that the people in our care are being properly cared for. We currently do not have any strategies in place and we don't have a big following online but with a social media plan, we will have a solid direction moving forward.

Our mission
We are a community of skilled, compassionate caregivers, rooted in Catholic tradition and the values of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace. We provide care with dignity for the healing of the whole person.
In accordance with our Values, we shall:
-Attend to the whole person with the goal of reaching each one's potential in a dignified manner that affirms and supports the gift of life.
-View care as an act in communion with the Church, as we treat all persons with the belief that each of us is created in the image of God.
-Be good stewards of all that is given into our hands - people, resources, earth itself.
-Work in a collaborative manner, mutually supporting one another with integrity.
-Respect and embrace our diversity, for only then can we truly be inclusive and earn each other's trust.
-Achieve peace through acts of justice.
What we do
Peace Care is a nonprofit healthcare organization sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace. Our two beautiful campuses, St. Ann's and St. Joseph's, have over 200 years' combined experience providing excellent short-term physical rehabilitation, long-term skilled nursing care and an adult medical day care.
