Foundation Grant Research
Project details
What we need
- A list of potential foundations to target for grant applications
Additional details
The Bridge Academy is beginning the process to build a new school. We have researched our current donor base and determined we have tapped out most of our current donors. We are interested in researching the possibility of private foundations to help fund the capital project. We would like to research foundations that would grant funds for students with learning disabilities and the creation of an expanded campus.
What we have in place
- We have decided to do our capital project on a phased in plan. The first phase was purchasing the property which we did debt free. Phase II is the renovation of the current building on the new property. This is being funded by a capital campaign of current donors and borrowed funds. Phase III will be the construction of new classroom space and we will need to outside of our donor base for help with funding.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,808 , allowing us to expand our student population and help more children in need of a quality education.
Our current location was always meant to be temporary. While our students are making remarkable progress, the facilities are not designed for our student population. There are shared classrooms, limited space for expansion and a portable science lab instead of a permanent science lab/classroom.
