What we have in place
- We currently have lots of experience with volunteer photographers, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have helpful staff and will have a printed schedule of events, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,048 , allowing us to spend those funds on bettering the weekend for both the visitors and exhibitors.
This project is important as it is one of the museums largest fundraisers. Having amazing photos of this event, give us the power to use the images to help promote the event in later years, as well as celebrate the even during the weekend and following online and on our social media. Money saved from using a volunteer can go towards programming, special events, and the collection.
Project plan
Our mission
To preserve the National Historic Landmark known as Morven by operating it as a museum and public garden that educates diverse audiences and showcases its rich history and the cultural heritage of New Jersey.
What we do
In a historic house built by a signer of the Declaration of Independence and later the home of Robert Wood Johnson and subsequently serving as the Governor's Mansion for five governors, Morven celebrates in its galleries both the remarkable history of the site in a permanent exhibition as well as the cultural heritage of all of New Jersey through changing exhibitions and programs.
