Additional details
I need to create a slideshow video for Curemonos' fundraising event. In addition, I will be using the same video to nominate the organization for the Astellas Oncology C3( i.e., Changing Cancer Care) Prize. The video needs to be less than 2 minutes and it needs to capture Curemonos' programs and impact for medically underserved women affected by breast cancer.
What we have in place
- We currently have an old video that you can use as a guide to create the new video. Most importantly, we already have the presentation ready and it just needs to be converted into a video.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,129 , allowing us to to showcase the value of Curemonos in underserved communities affected by breast cancer to donors and foundations. It will also free-up much needed funds to cover program expenses.
This video is extremely important because it will show Curemonos' programs and impact for medically underserved women affected by breast cancer. The video will be shown at Curemonos' 10th anniversary celebration and the video will be submitted as part of the nomination for Astellas Oncology C3 (Changing Cancer Care) Prize. If Curemonos is selected as the winner for the C3 Prize, then it will receive funding to increase capacity of clients served and for development of new programs.

Our mission
Curémonos mission is to provide education, support and advocacy to medically underserved women, primarily Latinas, affected by breast cancer.
What we do
Curémonos helps underserved Latinas through breast health education and personalized patient centered advocacy. We advocate with hospitals, physicians and community organizations to help patients and their families navigate the complex health system to obtain appropriate care in a timely, efficient and culturally accessible manner. By encouraging early diagnosis and treatment, patients obtain better health outcomes. Our services also benefit medical providers since patients overcome barriers to maintain and complete their treatment regimens as well as save hospitals, doctors, and taxpayers valuable time and money.
