What we need

We have information that we would like put into an interactive online map, similar to this: https://infogram.com/the_impact_of_the_better_care_reconciliation_act_on_employment
Our information is a compilation of locations in New Jersey where Canada geese are being killed that we want put on a map of New Jersey.

What we have in place
  • We currently have all of the information in an excel file, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a staff member, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,607 , allowing us to help local activists who are looking to stop the killing where they live, by creating public education materials, purchasing advertising and nonlethal devices.

APLNJ works with towns in New Jersey advocating the use of nonlethal means of handling conflicts with wildlife. Through this project, we are looking to make the public aware of the USDA sanctioned round up and gassing of Canada geese at various locations throughout New Jersey, seeking their involvement with their town.

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts three graphics using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Graphic Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of graphic
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to three rounds of feedback

Milestone 3: Final Graphic Delivered and Training
  • Professional delivers final version of the graphic and explains how to upload image(s) to the Organization’s chosen platform(s)
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager how to create and customize graphics

Animal Protection League of New Jersey (APLNJ) works toward the elimination of institutionalized and legalized exploitation and abuse of animals. APLNJ endeavors to create a culture of respect for the animals with whom we share this planet.
