Additional details
We are beginning marketing efforts for our Hepatitis C screening and treatment program. Our goal is to make the program more visible throughout our local county and increase referrals to the program. We plan to market directly to people at risk of contracting Hep C or who don't already know they are infected, and partner with service organizations who serve such individuals. We're currently looking for someone to help us brainstorm ideas and serve as a sounding board as we clarify our process.
What we have in place
- We have one staff member who is spearheading this project and several other staff providing limited assistance. Budget is extremely limited. We have developed some preliminary spreadsheets outlining target audiences.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,998 , allowing us to put that money into services for un- and under-insured children and families.
With the latest drugs available, Hepatitis C is one of the few diseases that can actually be cured. This project will help us figure out how to reach our target audience and ultimately people get more people in treatment, curing people of a silent but ultimately fatal illness.
