What we need
- Ongoing HR support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: hiring, compensation & benefits, HR policy & procedure, performance management, and/or workplace culture
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working. For this project, we also recommend working with a volunteer who is knowledgeable about the Organization's state policies

Looking for an HR/Communication professional to produce internal newsletter for our volunteers regarding organization achievements, new joinees, new sponsors, etc...
What we have in place
- We currently have identified news of interest, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a platform to distribute the information, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,955 , allowing us to provide instruction to an additional 20 students
in order to keep our volunteers engaged and informed about the happenings at JerseySTEM, we need to continuously recognize and acknowledge the work they do.

JerseySTEM is a grassroots 501(c) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math ("STEM") education to 5th-8th grade girls in New Jersey underserved communities
We partner with socially responsible companies and their employees, youth organizations in underserved communities, and civic-minded college students and universities.
Together we develop and deliver innovative, hands-on, and online afterschool projects and inquiry-based learning opportunities that develop teamwork, 21st-century problem-solving skills, and self-esteem.
What we do
Reduce the gender gap in STEM participation;
Bridge the innovation gap in STEM education by introducing novel formats for teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math;
Address the opportunity gap by expanding access to STEM programs in underserved communities.
