What we need
- A photographer who will work with the Organization over 1-2 days to capture an important event or shoot a series of photographs to tell the Organization's story
- A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in JPEG or TIFF format suitable for web or print use
- Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense
What we have in place
- We have several community programs that can be photographed, so we would be able to capture lots of activty in short period of time.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,048 , allowing us to really showcase our programs in the best light and attarct more people to our mission and work.
Our staff does such wonderful work with families and individuals; but our photos aren't communicating the impact of our work. The project will make our participants stories more compelling to donors; not just look needy.

Our mission
Our Mission is to assist African-Americans and other disadvantaged urban residents in the achievement of social and economic equality. The Urban League of Essex County implements it mission through program services, bridge building and advocacy.
What we do
Since our founding in 1917 the League has put countless numbers of individuals and families on the path to economic opportunity, social equality and the achievement of their dreams. Each year, we help thousands of individuals and their families through quality programs in early childhood education, youth development, employment services, housing and neighborhood revitalization.
