Project details

What we need
  • An effective and concise document that covers the following: Mission and Vision Statement, Executive Summary, Products, Programs, and Services, Target Market, Marketing Plan, Industry and Competitive Analysis, Financials, Organizational Structure, Management Team/Role of Board, Your Offering, Appendix, etc.
  • An internal guide to align day-to-day operations and goals
  • A fresh perspective on an Organization’s goals and strategies
What we have in place
  • We currently have a motivated Executive Director, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a draft business plan created by Rutgers Social enterprise business students, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $15,028 , allowing us to have a quality business plan that will help move NJAC towards using business practices that create lasting change for some of New Jersey's most vulnerable people.

NJAC is a 55 year old agency working towards social justice. Historically reliant on government funding, we are turning towards a social enterprise model in order to diversify funding streams and create sustainability while helping the vulnerable populations we serve more effectively, creatively, and without the restrictions that often accompany government dollars. Our first venture involves an employment agency focused on connecting former offenders with the growing warehousing industry in NJ. We have an existing business plan that needs to be modified to access start-up funding and want to expand it to eventually include employment opportunities for domestic violence victims.
