What we need
- A well written, meaningful thank you letter (no more than 1,000 words or standard two-page letter) that effectively communicates how the donation has helped the Organization
What we have in place
- We currently have sample thank you letters, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have marketing materials, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $940 , allowing us to use the money to help recruit more volunteers.
The importance of a well written thank you letter cannot be overstated. I feel it is the first an often most important step towards developing a relationship with the donor. If a donor understands the impact their donation will make to the organization and the value the organization places on its' donors, this will encourage them to continue to donate.
