How this will help
This project will save us $4,465 , allowing us to direct resources toward our policy work.
We're seeking a facilitator to run a 2-3 hour training session on sexual harassment. We are in Trenton, NJ. In-person is preferred, but we're open to videoconference. Our goal is to provide staff with options to manage the direct experience of harassment (both immediately and afterwards), train staff on preventing or defusing potential incidents, and offer tools for staff to support others who experience harassment through techniques like active listening and respectful receipt of complaints. We want to go beyond the traditional PowerPoint presentation and focus on empowering bystanders, like the examples mentioned in this article: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/11/upshot/sexual-harassment-workplace-prevention-effective.html.
