Website User Experience
Website User Experience
Project details
What we need
- Overhaul of the organization and structure of the Organization's existing website, or UX design for a new website
- Clear map of website’s structure (sitemap) with wireframes to accompany the layout; wireframes may include homepage, section pages, content detail pages, and form pages
- Flowcharts or specifications for the interactive features of the website
- A summary of the system components that will need to be styled for the site
- Note: We recommend this project for custom websites. If your site is built on a CMS platform like Wordpress or Squarespace that offers design templates, you may not need a UX design. Check out our Website Content Plan project for help designing a CMS-based website
Additional details
We need someone to help us develop a full site map. We have ideas as to what we'd like our website to look like, but we have no website development knowledge in the organization. We need someone patient to work with an organization with low resources and no experience in this field, as I will have many questions.
What we have in place
- We currently have Our current Website link: https://www.hudsonhrc.org/, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Feedback from a marketing professional on the layout, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $11,946 , allowing us to have a professional website. The reality is we would not be able to do it without you!
Our organization's website doesn't look professional and currently lacks a mechanism for donors to contribute. We want our website will be a reference for those looking for services as well as potential donors, so this will strengthen our future fundraising operation.
Project plan
Our mission
The mission of the Hudson County Housing Resource Center is to prevent homelessness, protect, maintain, and increase the affordable housing stock in Hudson County.
What we do
Since 1991, HRC has prevented homelessness by providing direct services to low-income Hudson County residents.
HRC owns and manages a small affordable housing project in West New York. HRC also supports low-income, disabled clients and their families with tenant-based rental assistance, and provides HUD-approved rental housing counseling to low income Hudson County residents.
Testimonials
Kaia was truly fabulous to work with. She was communicative, responsive, and understanding of our lack of skills and experience with UX Plan development. Wherever I lacked expertise, she was willing to chime in with positive feedback. I would recommend Kaia to groups who have a sense of what they want, but don't have language to explain it. She clearly translates techspeak to English, and is open to receiving extensive amounts of feedback in order to get you the product you want. 10/10 would recommend!
HCHRC was an ideal client - Talita had a good sense of what they were looking for and even mocked up some of her own ideas to kick things off, but she was also very open to my recommendations. I stayed on to hand off the design to the developer, and he was also great to work with. This truly was a collaborative effort!
