Project details

What we need
  • Cover letter of 3-4 paragraphs clearly stating why you’re applying for this grant and how you will meet the funder’s requirements
Additional details

We actually do have proposals that we have done in the past to different funders. What I would really need is someone that would be able to find 2 funders that closely align with our mission and help us to draft proposals to them so that we can apply and hopefully, receive funding.

What we have in place
  • We currently have proposal templates that we have used in the past, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have data, attachments that are usually requested, our website, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,792 , allowing us to put that money directly towards serving our youth and meeting their immediate needs.

Securing grants is very important for us to maintain our work and obtain success. We are always looking for more entities to invest in our mission and the lives of the children so that we might provide for them holistically and meet the needs of more youth who come to our doors. Through more funding, we can also seek to provide vocational services and financial literacy for women of limited means.

Testimonials

Jayshree worked with Hope Foundation for 2-3 months on this project where she helped us to do research on funders who would support our Orphaned and Abandoned Children’s Homes and our Women’s Business Programs in India. She was such an asset to our team. She is well-organized, timely, articulate, and an excellent writer. She assisted in the research process of finding a funder and constructed concise and well-written proposals that were necessary for consideration of funding. Through her patience and perseverance, she was able to help us track down two major funders who fell within our program and location focus and she was able to make grant submissions in a timely manner. She worked around our schedule and was very flexible, which was important to us as we are a small non-profit with staff who are limited in time and how much supervision and guidance we can provide. We greatly appreciated her patience, professionalism, and positive attitude. She would absolutely be a great addition to any team.

Proposal Cover Letter Project

It was a pleasure working for Hope Foundation who are helping the needy in India gain skills and support for self sufficient living. Rani is a very good communicator and great to work with. She was helpful and provided information and dealt with my questions very professionally. It would be great to work with her again.
