What we need
  • Up to 3 short animations to be used in further marketing content (short videos, gifs, website content, etc)
  • Guidelines on how to use the animations in accordance with other content

Love Letters for Literacy is a nonprofit that focuses on recruiting many student clubs (high school & college) to create literacy kits. An animated project would appeal to our target volunteer base. We are very hands on and can help with ideas and feedback.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a great story to tell since our founder is a teenager, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have almost 6 years experience recruiting thousands of volunteers, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $12,682 , allowing us to provide more supplies to our volunteers to create early literacy packets to children in need to help them read.

We know that our potential volunteers are the social media/tiktok generation and would be most attracted to a fun visual pitch for them to join our cause.

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager shares with Professional the intended platform(s) where animations will be posted, ideas for content, and images to include in the animation (if any)
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss the objective of the animation, key audiences, and visual branding guidelines
  • Volunteer Manager shares examples of animations they like with the Professional

Milestone 1: Preliminary Design
  • Professional drafts animations using different themes to share with the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager chooses one draft as a primary theme and provides feedback

Milestone 2: Animation Creation
  • Professional provides Volunteer Manager with first draft of animation
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds of feedback

Milestone 3: Final Animation Delivered
  • Professional delivers final version of the animations and explains how to include the animations on the organization’s chosen platform(s)

Our mission

Love Letters for Literacy has been around for 8.5+ years and has promoted early childhood literacy in all 50 states, Washington DC, and 36 other countries and 6 continents. Love Letters has recruited thousands of volunteers of all ages and abilities to create these simple literacy packets for pre-readers and early readers which helps explain to families the importance of teaching young children their letters at home.
