Project details

What we need
  • Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
  • Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website
Additional details

We are looking to convert our website from Wordpress to possibly Squarespace and would greatly appreciate your help!

What we have in place
  • We currently have all necessary copywriting and assets, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a clear vision for the end product, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to focus more on key programmatic innovations

This project will help us communicate more clearly and efficiently with those who need our services most. By assisting this migration, you will have an active hand in making our society more just in its handling of our homecoming citizens.

Prep: Share Scope of Changes
  • Volunteer Manager shares link to existing website with Professional
  • Volunteer Manager provides list of required updates to make (including sharing content or image assets, as necessary)
  • Both parties review our pro-tips for Organizations and Volunteers to ensure the project is set up for success

Milestone 1: Kick-Off Meeting
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss requested updates, and agree on a project timeline
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with credentials to access the website admin portal

Milestone 2: Review Updates
  • Professional makes the requested updates to the website (if available, the changes should be made in a test or development environment first)
  • Volunteer Manager reviews each update, and reports any remaining issues to the Professional

Milestone 3: Implementation of Updates
  • Professional implements updates to the live website
  • Professional troubleshoots any issues that may arise immediately after implementing changes on the live site

Our mission

American Reentry Initiative is a non-profit agency with the collective mission to facilitate the successful reintegration of all persons returning to the community from incarceration. A.R.I. aims to do this by giving individuals the tools, support and encouragement needed to obtain employment, training, housing and identification through direct services and online interface. A.R.I. also seeks to collaborate with new and existing organizations to fight for legislation and policy change for those in this at-risk and underserved population.
