Website Technical Updates
Project details
What we need
- Updates and/or fixes to Organization’s existing website (e.g., bug fixes, plugin or widget integration, etc.)
- Training for up to 3 Organization staff members on how to resolve minor issues going forward (if applicable)
Additional details
We are currently developing a filtering algorithm that allows users to sort through shops on our website based off of filter choices. These pages are currently built in HTML/CSS/JS, and thus the filtering algorithm will need to be developed programatically. Our overall website is built on wordpress, but we decided to use code for this specific feature.
What we have in place
- We currently have a codebase, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a framework for how the algorithm will work, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to continue hosting panels to promote activism and educate about fast fashion and climate change, launch our ambassadors program, connect with brands, develop a mobile app, launch Earth Day merchandise.
This project will streamline the consumer experience on our website and make it more user-friendly overall, which will help us achieve our goal of promoting sustainable fashion shopping.
