Newark Renaissance House is private not-for-profit community based organization.
We serve individuals, families and the community through innovative and multidisciplinary programs that treat the disorder of addiction and the behavioral, mental health and lifestyle issues associated with this disease.

What We Do

NRH focuses on the most vulnerable members of society: pregnant, post partum and parenting women, their infants, toddlers and pre-school age children; and adolescents: all of whom are suffering from the devastating effects of substance abuse or addiction.
We offer residential treatment for adolescent males ages 13-19, partial care, intensive outpatient(IOP) and outpatient services to both boys and girls 13-17.
Our Families United program is a residential program for pregnant women and women with children ages newborn to 5 yrs. We also have an IOP for women with their children. Infant/Child development and mental health are priorities in addition to establishing healthy mother/child attachment.
